Peer Review Process

Civil Engineering Science and Technology (CEST) implements a double-blind peer review process in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The journal follows a rigorous peer review system to assess the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of submitted articles.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening, including plagiarism detection using Turnitin, before being sent for peer review. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments, and the final decision is made by the editor.

CEST is an open access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to the public. The journal maintains an efficient review timeline, with a first decision within 7 days, a review process completed within approximately 28 days, and an overall submission-to-publication timeframe of around 90 days.
